Age Limit Details :
For General categories – 18 to 32 Years
For BC,BCM; MBC & DNC – 18 to 34 Years

Educational Qualification :
1. Assistant Research Officer (Chemistry) – M.Sc., qualification in the concerned discipline. 2 years experience in operating Laboratory instruments Preference shall be given to the holders of M.Sc (Analytical Chemistry).
2. Assistant Research Officer (Microbiology) –M.Sc., qualification in the concerned discipline; and 2 years experience in operating Laboratory instruments
3. Assistant Research Officer (Pharmacognosy) –M.Sc., qualification in the concerned discipline or (Botany) or M.Pharm (Pharmacognosy) 2 years experience in operating Laboratory instruments
4. Assistant Research Officer (Process Validation) – M.Sc., qualification in the concerned discipline or (Botany) or B.Pharm and 2 years experience in the field of Product development standardization/Research
5. Assistant Research Officer (Animal House) – UG in Veterinary Science from a recognized University/ Institution. Registration with Veterinary Council of India or State Veterinary Council under Veterinary Council of India.
6. Assistant Research Officer (Bio Chemistry) – M.Sc., qualification in the concerned discipline; and 2 years experience in operating Laboratory instruments
7. Assistant Research Officer (Pathology) – MBBS degree from a recognized University / Institution. 2) Degree / Diploma in Pathology of minimum of 1 year duration
8. Assistant Research Officer (Pharmacology & Toxicology) – M.Sc., (Pharmacology/ Medical Pharmacology); and 2 years experience in operating Laboratory instruments
9. Lab Technician – A pass in DMLT obtained from the recognized institution
Selection Process :
“Selection will be made based on the marks scored by the candidates in their academic qualification for the post of ASSISTANT RESEARCH OFFICERS AND LAB TECHNICIAN duly following the rules of reservation and communal rotation issued by the Government of Tamil Nadu and also follow the instructions issued in G.O.(D).No.816, Health and Family Welfare (IM1-2) Dept, Dated 14.09.2020 and G.O.(D).No.1116, Health and Family Welfare (IM1-1) Dept, Dated 10.11.2020. There will be no written test for the posts.”
